|Recommended: YesGreat place to live — It's a wonderful spot close to a lot of really good stores and locations, a bit noisy at times due to a train that passes on occasion but besides that there have been no issues.
Thank you Ben!
|Recommended: YesReally good — Highly recommended
|Recommended: YesGood place — Highly recommended
|Recommended: YesEverything looks good — Everything is clean and there’s a lot of storage space
|Recommended: YesGreat Student Housing — I’m really fond of this place so far It’s just off of the freeway so getting to lots of places in this area is quick. It’s also only 4 minutes from UVU, so it works great as student housing. Each unit has a decent amount of space with two bathrooms and a good sized kitchen. The only downside to the kitchen is that the cupboards are extremely deep so it leaves a lot of space that’s not easily accessible. Other than that, it’s a great place to live. The staff are also super helpful here
Thank you Melanie! Love hearing that VP is a good fit - thank you for the review!
|Recommended: YesOverall amazing — The staff is so so nice and they are always willing to help. However when you make a complain about something that needs to be fixed in your apartment they don't seem that willing to fix it.
Thank you Mallory! We love having you here at VP.
|Recommended: YesHome — Its a good place and good staff.
|Recommended: YesCan hear everything. — We can hear everything from the people above use talking and walking to the door being knocked at the apartment below us. we can hear conversations from people that are outside by their cars. Other than that have loved living hear so far
Thank you Ellie - we love having you here. :) We totally understand that it will be a bit louder here than at a family complex with so many students. See you at the next activity?
|Recommended: YesCheap, decent — Good prices. Always hot water, stoves are really great. Nice having a pin for the door instead of having to carry a key. The TVs are good quality. Lots of quality variation between apartments - my bed is really nice, my boyfriend's has cinderblocks for risers. Take it as you will. If you're away from home a lot this is probably a great option.
|Recommended: YesNice — I would tell them that it is a good place for the price
Thank you Aubrey!
|Recommended: YesIt's great — The location is nice, especially if you use public transportation. Management, and staff are all really nice and help try to help as much as they can The shuttle is great for classes, super convenient. There's tons of events for the residents so it's a great way to get to know everyone and have fun Also they've started renovating some of the apartments and just added TV's to all of them so that's been nice. Some things to consider We're right off the freeway, train tracks, and a main road so there can be some noise and occasionally shaking vibrations from the trains. It's not terrible, but some people might be sensitive to things like that. If your room is right outside places like the basketball court, or the road and stuff it can get loud with people playing music, and just hearing noise in general. However if that stuff bugs you management try's to get you into an apartment that you choose, so just let them know and they'll work with you. Each apartment holds 6 people so, sometimes depending on your roommates, the kitchen storage space can get really tight. So having a mini fridge shelf or some sort of storage is really nice. The apartments usually have a random assortment of pots and pans leftover from past residents, but there's usually not a lot of dinnerware or specialized cooking equipment. So I'd at least bring one set of utensils, a plate, and a bowel as a bare minimum. Also if your hot blooded it can get hot, especially in your room during the summer, so make sure to have your door open sometimes to help circulate the air, and buy a fan. I've never had an issue with the internet, but some of my past roommates have said its not the best for gaming, so if that's your thing I'd keep that in mind. Also if bring some lightbulbs when you move in, there's usually some missing. Being close to the FrontRunner is supper nice My family lives up north so I use it all the time. UVX is great to for getting around Orem and Provo too. It's all free for students The last thing, if your LDS or even if your no I guess, it's supper close to where the Orem temple is being built. So it'll be great for visiting Completely within walking distance, it should be about a 10-15min walk. Oh, the ward for residents is on UVU campus too just as a heads up.
Thank you Ryan!
|Recommended: YesIt is super nice and close to campus I also feel safe which is super nice — It is a super great place for the price. It's super close to campus and there is a shuttle which is super nice. I also feel pretty safe and theres still a lot of social activites.
Thank you Mary! Love having you here at VP. :)
|Recommended: YesFun, Clean, Relaxing, Convenient — It has been a great experience so far I love how they paired us with roommates of similar interests from similar areas. I am very grateful to be living here and so close to campus, it is so nice.
Thank you Mary! We love having you here at VP!
|Recommended: YesGenerally very good and quiet — Its very nice and not annoying.
Thank you Shaelyn!
|Recommended: YesWell kept, cheap but cool advantages. — While the inside of the apartments isn't mind blowing, it does seem pretty good. However, if you tell them that something needs fixing, for example your dishwasher, they don't seem to be that motivated to fix it. Neither do they try to contact you about it to see what it really looks like. On the bright side, they have an indoor pool and hot tub which will be nice to use in the winter.
Hi Mallory! Thank you for submitting this review - we definitely are motivated to help with items that need fixed, however there were a few units that needed AC fixed immediately this week, which pulled maintenance there first. Your work order should be addressed shortly!
